Adventure Invitations

Adventure Invitations Print Design, Special Event Every party needs a theme! For our daughter’s birthday and our house-warming party we decided to do an Adventure theme. I found some great ideas on Pinterest (see board here) and decided to use them as inspiration to create a one-of-a-kind invite to send to friends and family. The design is 4.25″ x 11″ and folded to be 4.25 x 5.5 inches to fit into a standard size envelope. I printed them 2 up on 32lb. paper without bleed to save a little cash. They turned out nicely and I’m so excited for our guests to receive them!  Throw a Party!   Custom invitations make your party even cooler. Get...

Little Black Dress

Little Black Dress

Little Black Dress Special Event Planning, Program, & Digital Advertising Little Black Dress is a ladies-only fundraising event benefiting True North of Columbia, the local emergency shelter for victims of domestic and sexual violence. I’ve had the pleasure of serving the LBD event committee since 2014. The event has grown substantially and moved locations to accommodate increased attendance. Event Program (right) The raffle prizes, silent auction items and sponsors have grown so much and we wanted to recognize the businesses and individuals supporting the event and the cause. The event’s program also provided a method for sharing additional donation information with guests in the event they missed an announcement by the emcees. Social Media Digital (below) Posting updates and ticket information about this annual event means sharing an image to go along with the message to make the most impact on any of our follower’s newsfeed. You can follow Little Black Dress on Facebook. Above: Cover and inside spread of the 2015 LBD program. Men As Allies Branding

Men As Allies Branding

Men As Allies Logo, Branding & Print Men as Allies is a new event/group bringing awareness and support to domestic violence in Columbia, MO. When True North of Columbia‘s Director, Barbara Hodges, asked me to work on a logo that incorporated their established branding along with a new concept for a special event I was honored. I’ve had the pleasure of serving on the committee for their annual Little Black Dress event since 2014. Below, you can see my creative process for this logo. At right is a finished ad published in a Spring 2015 issue of Inside Columbia magazine. The first round of rough designs were an exploration of font choices and arrangements with the True North star. The second round of rough designs narrowed the font choices and explored how the logo would look at a small size since it was going to be used for promotional items. The third round of design solidified the font, arrangement and added a grounding design element: the circle background. This project was completed during my time at Joe Machens Dealerships. It was completed under art direction from Barbara Hodges of True North of Columbia and Mary Jo Henry of True North/Joe Machens Dealerships.      Imagine a Safer Community   Hotline: 573.875.1370 or 800.548.2480 Help Your Community...
10th Anniversary Barrel

10th Anniversary Barrel

10 for Ten Barrel Selection Video Production, Photography In the end, after much deliberation, we chose barrel number ten.  Only after cheers, congratulations, pictures and hugs did it hit me. We picked number TEN, celebrating our tenth anniversary, it was meant to be! – Reine Knobbe About This Video I had the pleasure of accompanying Chariots of Fire Customs, LLC owners Jan and Reine Knobbe (aka my dad and mom) on a special trip down to Lynchburg, Tennessee to help select a barrel of Single Barrel Select Jack Daniels to celebrate their 10th Anniversary in business. I captured a ton of footage using their DSLR camera and did some editing in iMovie. It was a fantastic trip and it gave me a chance to work on my video editing skills to help promote their commemorative bottle sales too!     Kind words from Dad go here… Jan Knobbe 49% Owner, Chariots of Fire Customs, LLC I Want More Like This?    I make short promotional videos for products, companies and events.
